Hi, I’m Romcy!
In clay, I’ve found a place where everything, little by little, has slowed down.
A place where I rediscover myself, connect, and grow (and so I continue, day after day). Where each piece carries a little bit of me - my essence, the warmth of my hands, and the beautiful unique qualities that each one possesses. Simple, honest, and made with time and care.
For me, ceramics is like those conversations you have with that person who fills you up inside, who brings you comfort and security - you know?… But between me and clay. Each piece has its own characteristic and its own story to tell.
And it’s here, in the rhythm of making and remaking, of glazing and firing, that they come to life. Pieces that invite you to touch them, enchant the eye, and come more alive with use.
Alongside clay, I continue to explore other materials, such as wood, metal, glass and textiles… with a constant dialogue between me and these elements.
I hope you find a piece that speaks to you, that makes you want to sip that coffee more slowly, savor that soup as if it were your first time, or admire the beautiful moment of a flower.
